This one is really sad. Well, they're all sad, but this death seems particularly tragic. Heath Ledger, 28, was found dead in "a possible drug-related death" today in Manhattan. This makes him the second actor in the past week to die young (after Brad Renfro). I feel bad for his kid.

B-Side, that was my first thought too (after the initial, "what the hell?"). Poor little girl.
As a former actor myself, I am usually very picky about actors. Looking back, there was no role or movie I saw him in that I didn't love. He had such versatility. Even the cheesy stuff (10 Things I Hate About You), he made so enjoyable and fun.
A couple of months ago, I saw I'm Not There, and the first thing I said to my roommate after the movie was, "Cate Blanchett might be getting all the attention, but Heath Ledger was the best part of that movie by far."
This is the last blog I'm visiting tonight, because I'm going to cry otherwise. Maybe that's shallow, but it's awful to see such a promising career and a young life cut short.
I think this death is more sad and tragic them all of them put together. Rest In Peace, Heath.
