It's always dangerous for me to go to drug stores because I usually emerge with some impulsively purchased piece of candy. Yesterday, I found myself staring down a box of Cadbury Creme Eggs, and I had to ask myself: is January too early to partake in an Easter confection? And am I a bad Jew? I decided the answer to both was a resounding no. As is the case every year, I couldn't deny myself the delicious, chocolatey, enamel-threatening treat. So I bought one and ate it, but not before snapping a few pics in honor of this candy's triumphant seasonal return.
This is what happens when I get sick, people. I blog about minutae. I mean, really? Am I really about to post about a Cadbury Creme Egg? Even though there's no hook or story to go with it? Really? Really? Eh, it's Friday. No one's reading anyway.

Oooooh.

Ahhhhh...
I hope you weren't expecting more because that's all I got.
In conclusion: Cadbury Creme Eggs are great. But kind of awful too. Why, they're awfully great! [step away from the keyboard, B-Side. Step away...]

I don't like those things b/c of what's inside. I don't think you're a bad Jew for eating one, but (said in my best Jewish mother voice) you couldn't find yourself a nice little Valentine's candy?
feel better B! love- zb
Ugh. I know what you mean about impulse candy buys. Last night I ended up walking out of Shoppers Drug Mart with 4 boxes of Christmas chocolate they were selling for 1$. And this was good shit -- Laura Secord, Terry's chocolate orange, some mint thingys, and even Lindt. I must be stopped.
Get well soon B. We need better time wasters than this :)
"Is it ever too early" for Cadbury--NEVER!!
I prefer the chocolate bunny for easter candy selection.
But I wanted to comment on your nice nails. So few men know the importance of good grooming. Good on you b-side.

What do you mean no one is reading anyway? What about us??
I'm a dark chocolate kind of girl, but I won't pass up milk chocolate any day of the week.
Feel better.
I lost all love for the Cadbury Creme egg once BJ Novak pointed out that they have in fact gotten smaller, and I have not gotten bigger.
All I have to say is that it's 1:36 AM, and I'd give anything for a Cadbury Creme egg now.
Wheres the money shot of the cream filling?
As far as Easter candy goes, nothing beats the good, old-fashioned Marshmallow Peeps for pure enjoyment. Seriously - sugar rolled in sugar - what's not to love? Yum.
i freakin' love cadbury eggs!! yeah, they make you feel kinda sick when you eat them, especially if you eat more than one in a sitting, with their sugary goodness. mmm...yum. gonna have to keep an eye out for 'em.
and I'm with ed-where's the cream filling!?!?!?
I agree with tigereye and EdHill, b-side, not including a shot of the filling was just so wrong.
Easter candy is the best!! I love the Cadbury chocolate eggs with the crisp candy shell. And Peeps rock!! Mmm, Walgreens, here I come...

It was yum pegster -
until Peeps went to China to manufacture our delicious treats.
Yep - no more Peeps around here. :(
