Common sense and some sort of innate, animal instinct tells us that when it comes to lions, we humans should probably keep our distance. However, someone forgot to pass along the memo to British school teacher Kate Drew, who on a recent safari, opted to get up close and personal with the big cats, thinking that, you know, she wouldn't get her head gnawed off. Turns out that maybe she should have thought twice. The unlucky woman quickly found herself the chew-toy of choice for one jovial lion, but thankfully, she survived this completely predictable and avoidable attack. Non-graphic photos after the jump...

"Tra la la. What a perfect day for a stroll with some ravenous, meat-eating lions."

"You're a good little lion, aren't you?"

"Nothing could possibly go wrong. Ever."

"HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT!!! GET HIM OFF!!! GET HIM OFF!!!"

"I'm serious. This is NOT funny, lion!"

"And it was a brand new weave, too."

"After this, I deserve a scone."

"Now that I think about it, it's kind of funny. A lion tried to bite off my head. Hahahaha. Sigh... Good times."

"Me, 1. Natural Selection, 0."

those dumb blonde bitches do give good head.
Why the hell is that chick stealing sg-dub's trademarked pose???
You made me laugh at a woman getting mauled by a lion. That is talent, my friend.
Not to denigrate B-Side's accomplishments, but I cannot think of an occasion on which a woman getting mauled by a lion would not make me laugh. I suppose if I were related to her I might just silently chuckle.
So when I was in Vegas this weekend, we saw the Lions at the MGM. I was so disinterested, and my friend turned to me and said "this reminds me of that B-Side guy...and that is why you don't pet Lions."
Just thought I'd share the fact that even in Vegas in a drunken state of mind, your blog is relevant.
Oh, and after reading all of your Flogs, I don't think flying will ever be the same. So thanks for that.
