Well, the last chance we had at any real drama for this season of American Idol went out the window Wednesday night when Syesha was unceremoniously bumped from the Final Two. I'm sure no one was more surprised than she. After all, with that nagging sense of entitlement she's had all season, she probably thought she'd actually wrapped this thing up back in week one. I'm shocked she didn't tell Ryan last night, "YOU MEAN THERE'S ANOTHER WEEK? I THOUGHT I ALREADY WON! You're silly, Ryan."
Alas, Syesha now must enter her post-Idol life as a coulda-been contender, but even if we never hear from her again, we'll always know that she is — and always will be — a STAR!

What? Nothing about Fantasia's crack-addict performance? I'm sorry, I know people think she is fab, but I thought last night's deal was like a two-bit crack ho coming off a bender...Simon's face said it all.
I am SOOO rooting for David Cook. David A. simply bores the hell out of me. I mean, it is like he is a 65 year old man in a 17 year old's body.
KikiC, I know, I'm still talking about Fantasia's performance. I made all my co-workers watch the performance on youtube- which also has Simon's priceless facial expression. Hopefully B-Side will post that up as another post.
I live in Tampa and Syesha was on the radio here last Friday morning. She was very personable and funny. She did a Paula impersonation and was making fun of her-it was awesome! He handlers pretty much cut her off after that and ended the interview. Haha!
