OMFG: Could It Be True??? Serena? With the Candlestick? In the Study?

FOR SHAME, SERENA! FOR SHAME!

Who would have thought last night's Gossip Girl gay pride celebration could ever be upstaged, especially by anything stemming from the previously tiresome (now AMAZING) Michelle Trachtenberg storyline? BUT IT WAS. OH IT WAS. If you haven't seen the episode, you must watch it immediately. Not only did it have a killer cliffhanger, but there were about a dozen vicious zingers scattered throughout the show. Katie Holmes and Vanessa Hudgens became back-to-back butts of gay jokes, which were both bold, funny, and incredibly true to the characters saying them. Also earning bonus points: swishy Asher threatening to pop Jenny Humphrey's cherry to Dan. Finally: teenagers that sound like teenagers (even if they seem to be a bit precocious with their whisky swilling and whatnot). That's what makes Gossip Girl so fantastic: no kid gloves. The only downside to last night was that there could have been plenty more Eric-Asher-Jenny intrigue to be had (I'm talking a few episodes' worth), but sadly, it was all dissipated entirely too quickly. That's okay though. It was still an incredibly awesome hour.

I don't really have time regrettably to write a whole thing about last night's episode, but feel free to discuss it here. Here are some discussion points: is it me, or does Michelle Trachtenberg have distractingly pointy canine teeth? And is there anything worse than watching Nate kiss Vanessa?

Oddly enough I had noticed the teeth and it was very distracting to me as well. I don't really mind the Nate and Vanessa kiss beacause I dislike Vanessa and this gives Blair reason to destroy her.

I was glad to see Blair finally take down Jenny because Jenny pisses me off and i've been team blair from day 1.

I don't really like how Dan became such fast friends with Georgina (even though she was pretending to be someone else)he doesn't have any guy friends yet after getting a girlfriend he starts introducing more girlfriends with every passing week it seems. I really thought that he would be the gay character. The gays always have female friends.

The Serena shocker did its job and left me shocked but I'm worried that Gossip Girl could possibly now become I know what you did last summer.

Oh... I loved this episode. The "killer" cliff hanger at the end was great!

I was glad Blair took out Jenny. She was getting a little too much for me. I liked her better last season.

Nate and Venessa don't bother me. She's not that bad.

I love Michelle Trachenberg! She's so evil. I had my doubts when they announce that she was going to be on the show and now it's oh so good.

Can't wait for one of your recaps B. I missed you when you were on vacay

I totally agree that the Eric-Asher-Jenny triangle could have been played up a little more. Easily a 2 to 3 episode run, but I digress...

And what's up with the teaser video G played for S at the cafe? Will we ever see what's on that video???

OMFG. Color me stunned!

The whole time at the end I was expecting her to say "Sex tape"....wow.

And I actually started to like Nate, so I'm happy to see him with Vanessa. Jenny was really pissing me off this episode. I like how Blair kinda watches out for Eric.

This show is so good.

According to my little sister in the Gossip Girl books Dan is GAY!!! However, Eric wasn't...so maybe they flip flopped everything?
