What's that old saying? You get what you pay for? Something like that. Well, epic complainer / Connect Four aficionado Kanye West finally discovered what it was like to be at the brunt of a hissy fit this weekend as thousands of fans at the Bonnaroo festival turned on the talented, if volatile rapper. West, who took to the stage at 4:30 AM (hours after his initial 8:15 PM start time, which was then rescheduled to 2:45 AM), discovered that fans don't necessarily like waiting around for a glow-in-the-dark prima dona, no matter how celebrated he is. The angry crowd happily booed Kanye and chanted "Kanye sucks!" over and over again.
As for Kanye, he not only ignored the haters, but he didn't even acknowledge the fact that he took the stage so late. Not once did he apologize to the fans, further angering the sleep-deprived masses. Sounds like one big colossal mess. And that's why I don't go to music festivals.

So here's my first-hand account from friends who were at Bonnaroo: "We waited for that f-ing jerk until 3:45 a.m. By then, thousands of people were leaving, shouting, "Kanye Sucks." I was one of them. Bonnaroo people do not like men with big egos and small penises. Because of him, we were totally messed up on Sunday, in terrible moods and ended up coming home, missing a bunch of good bands, including Death Cab, Robert Randolph and Widespread Panic. My new motto is, "It's Kanye's fault." B-Side: more evidence for you to not go to such festivals!

But I heard Pearl Jam blew the crowd out of their socks with a 3 hour set. Awesome.
why the hell was he at Bonaroo in the first place? I thought that festival was suspossed to be more rock based.
And yes I heard the same thing about Pearl Jam...damn I love them.
Side Note: I HATE this Connect Four pic! It frustrates me to no end. SOMEONE already got connect four in red on the bottom.....WHY did they continue playing?!??!?!?
Who exactly waited for Kanye anyways? Did someone actually camp out with 80,000 hippies to see Willie, Metallica, Teagan & Sara, Gogol Bordello, Mastadon, and Kanye? What a perfect time for him to come on. When everyone else is SLEEPING! He was but a fart in the wind at Bonnaroo. Of all the fantastic performances, why are people even speaking of him. Kanye doesn't care about white people. What about Kirk Hammett surprising jam with Les Claypool? Hello? No more about...what's his name?
This picture of Connect 4 shouldn't confuse you one bit. Considering Kanye obviously had just won the game before the picture was taken. Theres a whole row with just one red peice meaning someone just made Connect 4...so annie25 your a true genius.
Bonnaroo shmonaroo...his show was still amazing regardless the delay. Playing as the sun came up. It was incredible. Suck it haterz.
