It's a sad day indeed for '80s sitcom fans. Estelle Getty, best known as Sophia Petrillo on The Golden Girls (or simply as "MA!"), has died at the age of 84. According to her family, she suffered "advanced dementia." While reports of her illness had surfaced over the past few years, her passing is sad nonetheless.
