This past weekend, I made my MTV debut on the launch special for the upcoming season of The Hills. It was a momentous talking head occasion — my finest contribution to The Hills canon since I coined the term "Speidi" back last year.

Yes, that's right. The entire extent of my much-hyped debut can be seen here in this one frame from the ending credits of the special. Oh well. Didn't make the cut. But hey, as a consolation prize, you all got to see tons and tons of Perez Hilton, and who doesn't just love THAT?
Nevertheless, thanks to everyone who tuned in. It sounds like there were a good number of you. And thanks anyway to MTV. Even though I wound up on the cutting room floor, I still really enjoyed the experience greatly.

Were you making fun of all the fakeness of the storylines?
Brittny Gastineau seemed to be completely convinced that the show was 100% real and because of it she got a ton of air time.
I was annoyed that I watched almost the whole thing with no sign of you. Way too much Perez, who seems very full of himself. Especially when he mentioned not revealing his sources regarding the sex tape.

fave part: brody jenner and jen bunney are just like romeo and juliet!
My very favorite parts included seeing the difference in Heidi and Jen's noses between past episodes and their present day comments.
