There's Hope for Comedy on TV After All...

By B-Side in

There's something exceptionally thrilling about watching talented people working together to create TV comedy. Such is the case with this clip from Late Night with Conan O'Brien. It features Julia Louis-Dreyfus, among others, engaging in some post-Emmy shenanigans in the hallowed halls of 30 Rock — a place where I once served as a wee intern back ten years ago (tear). Clocking in at over six minutes, this video is worth every second.

It's so great to see Julia and Tina together. They are two of the greatest TV comediennes ever, and deserve to be mentioned in the same category with Lucille Ball, Mary Tyler Moore, and Valerie Harper.

BTW how is it possible that Julia looks hotter now at 47 than she did when she was on SNL over 25 years ago??? Great genes or great plastic surgeon, she's a knockout in addition to being really talented.

I agree...Julia's gorgeous.

And that was a funny clip....thanks for posting. Man, 30 Rock's sort of like a maze....but then again I think most studios are. Everytime a show goes "backstage" for whatever reason, the layout confuses the hell out of me.
