Last year, I fared pretty decently in the Blogger's Choice Awards, coming in seventh overall for "The Blogitzer" (best writing) and ninth overall for Best Pop Culture Blog. (Thank you all again for voting!). Now it's time for the Bloggies, and I'm determined to get a nomination somehow, some way. Voting is open to the public until January 12th, at which point, the process falls into the hands of a mysterious committee — probably full of wonderful, charming people (me smiling winsomely).

I cannot in good conscience vote for you unless you announce that you are recapping The City. It's so bad,it;s almost good and I'd lurve your commentary. OK,I'll vote for you anyway,but at least think about it.

I"ll probably do a formal post about this, but I absolutely love the city and have so much to say about it, but I can't do recaps right now. I'm finishing up a screenplay, and I"m under a lot of pressure to get it done soon. Recaps take a minimum of three hours to write — sometimes up to five or six — so as much as I want to do them, it's very difficult for me right now.
I would do photocaps in the meantime because those are much easier, but MTV oddly isn't putting up any screencaps from the episodes!!
Thanks for your patience, and I promise to get back to writing them as soon as I possibly can. Believe me, it's just as hard for me to sit here with all my thoughts bottled up!
OH, and I do still play Big Brain Academy! I'll post pics.

Also, if you get a chance - check out the new RW: Brooklyn. This one looks like it might be closer to the original than the others, I was surprisingly drawn in by it. I know you can't recap it, but it's still worth checking out...

i voted for you and i get to help choose who the finalist are (or at least that is my understanding) and i did so not because you asked. but because for the most part your blog is all of those things. and who ever it was that voted with their two different emails. i cry genius and i will go and do the same right now.
