If things look a little different around here, it’s because I added a third column to the right of the page. The one sidebar was getting a bit unwieldy, and with limited premium space at the top, too much important stuff was getting shoved too far down (ie. advertising). As a result, I’ve bumped “Hot Posts” to the right, as well as a few other items. Over the next few days, I may be moving stuff back and forth between the columns; so enjoy the excitement as some of your favorite sidebar features migrate like a pack of Canadian geese in the winter!
Of course, the downside of adding this column is that the blog has grown to be super wide. I really didn’t want to sacrifice the main content area’s width because I’m a fan of large reading space and big photos. However, please tell me if the right-most sidebar is a) being cut off and b) if this new design is annoying or impeding the functionality of the site for you. According to my stats, the majority of users employs computers with resolutions large enough to accommodate the wider size; so I imagine this shouldn’t be too much of a problem (and yes, stats really do track that sort of data!).

The third column is cut off for me, but since I check in so frequently, I never use the Hot Posts column or the tags. It’s not affecting usability at all. I use IE 7.0
Mine is cutoff by more than 1/2 on the last column…I rarely if ever use those links though…

The horizontal banners and “The Latest Comment” banner are both cut off on the right side on Win-Firefox 3.0.6. Win-IE7 is pretty unaffected.
Can you switch the ad column with the hot posts/categories column? It might be a little less intrusive on the reading experience. Or is that even an option?

The Blogads have to stay in the position that they’re in. The Google Ads can be swapped with the Hot Posts though. However, given that some people will inevitably have the last column cut off, I’d rather have the Hot Posts cut off than any ads.
‘Tis a fine balance: whether to direct traffic towards ads or to pageviews. Dilemmas!
I see everything just fine. I say do whatever you have to do to keep those huge advertising revenues rolling in.

Most of the third column is missing on my screen and I am using FF 3.0.6 no IE crap for me
I am not concerned about missing the third column since I have you on my RSS page so I doubt I will miss the good stuff.
I can see everything fine – no problems.
The right sidebar is totally cut off on my screen. Somewhat annoying. But I still love the blog!
Am I the only person who is only getting a big green stripe in the right column? All of the ads and “Hot Posts” are at the very bottom.
Posts on the side are just a slide of the bar away, which I find as no problem.
The heading looks great, yet I vote for a picture of you in the heading. Jash, what do you think?
I can happily still see the Simon & Simon Season 2 DVD ad. I just can’t get enough Gerald McRaney.
There’s a strong chance I may go back to one sidebar. If I do that, I’m gonna put the Hot Posts into the header.

So the ads for stuff like Simon & Simon Season 2 are covering the right most portion of the blog. Not the list on the far right but the right hand side of the main paragraphs! I can’t read the blog anymore!
