Why did I click on that wood chipper story?!?!
I couldn't click on the wood chipper story. I've been terrified of them ever since I watched some detective show with my parents (it was probably Columbo) in which the murderer disposed of the body by throwing it into a wood chipper.
I was sad to hear about Walter Cronkite. He always had such a calming presence about him--the news was never sensationalized or tear-jerky, he just told it like it was.
Walter Cronkite is a News God. My most vivid memory of him was when he announced the passing of President Kennedy and he took off his glasses and wiped his eyes.
I hope he has no pain or suffering.
