‘Community’ Is Amazing

Modern Family has all the buzz, but I think after having watched last night’s episode of Community, it’s the Joel McHale-led ensemble that is the best new sitcom of the season. Honestly, this latest episode was genius; definitely the funniest thus far. This isn’t to detract from Modern Family whatsoever. Obviously that show is very funny too; however, at the end of the day, it’s Community that makes me laugh more.
Here’s a brief clip from the top of last night’s episode — the first of many that made me guffaw on my couch. If you don’t watch the show or haven’t seen last night’s episode, be sure to check it out.

  1. I agree. Community brings it every week. (and Honeybunny, I mean the cake!)
Joel is a favorite of mine.

  2. Seriously. Last night’s episode was AMAZING. SO. FUNNY. It didn’t hurt that Joel McHale is a total babe, with or WITHOUT his clothing, either.

  3. AND NO LAUGH TRACK!
My only complaint is I have to watch it more than once to catch what I’d missed due to laughing at what had gone before.
    Genius!

  4. They showed this episode at the Paley Fest on Wednesday, but we missed so many jokes because of all the people laughing in the theater. Watched it again last night and it was even better.
Looking forward to some of the new shows they talked about that night too. The show has definitely found its groove.

  5. tishamay – it has to be a Bundt cake.
Abed “When you guys first came in we were as wholesome and healthy as the family in The Brady Bunch. And now we’re as dysfunctional and incestuous as the cast of The Brady Bunch.”

  6. Definitely a great episode.
However, how could they all be talking about Don Draper with Annie? Didn’t any of them realize that Trudy from Mad Men looks EXACTLY LIKE HER? Am I the only moron who was bothered by this?
