Amanda Bynes has recently retired from acting (perhaps for dubious reasons); so what better way to capitalize on this weird turn of events than by releasing long-forgotten footage of her doing standup comedy in 1996? That’s exactly what the Laugh Factory has done, and in the above clip, you can see the pint-sized, chipmunk-voiced child star entertaining the crowd with her unique brand of kiddie comedy. I don’t really find this clip to be particularly funny per se, but it is peculiar. And as a bonus, there’s even an introduction by Arsenio Hall, who refers to her as “Amanda Burns.” So there’s that.
