No One Can Resist My Schweddy Balls (Ice Cream)

Talk about a delicious dish: Ben and Jerry’s has officially announced their newest flavor titled “Schweddy Balls,” a reference to one of the greatest Saturday Night Live skits of the ’90s. The ice cream will feature a vanilla base with a hint of rum as well as “fudge covered rum balls and milk chocolate malt balls.” So basically: it’s full of balls, appropriately enough.

No word on when Schweddy Balls will hit shelves (assuming it hasn’t already), but its launch will be nationwide. Limited batch only though. Grab your Balls while you can!

  1. just watched this skit again this weekend and laughed my a$$ off – good for Ben and Jerry’s to find the humor and bring it on!! I will buy this ice cream and maybe soon they will have Salty Nuts ice cream too!

  2. I wish that Schweddy balls also had nuts but it looks so tasty that I just want to take a big lick right now.

  3. For the past two years in a Summer month, Ben & Jerry’s has had a “Special Edition” Key Lime Pie flavor complete with pie crust pieces. It is DELISH, but as the name Special Edition implies, it is hard to find. This year, it was no where to be found. The pie crust in the ice cream was so yummy and so was the key lime. I may try the Schweddy Balls, but it will be no Key Lime Pie, I can assure you…

  4. TOO FUUUNNNNYYYYY!!!!!! I have this skit recorded on my DVR and just watched it this past weekend with a bunch of friends…. We laughed our A$$es off!!! Can’t wait to try our Sweddy Balls !!!!!

  5. This is definitely an all-time classic, along with the SNL skit of Baldwin on a soap opera mispronouncing medical terms “be-nig” instead of “benign” and “anal caynal” and such.
